Came here for dinner on a Thursday night and had the best experience. The food was absolutely delicious, from our crab cake dip appetizer to my chicken dinner with the most delicious potato’s all the way to our lava cake and fried donuts for dessert (we had to get both because we couldn’t decide)!! Everything was 10/10. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the dishes came out quickly and were hot. What more could you ask for!! To top it all off, we had Brian as our server… and he made our night. He was so friendly, got us whatever we needed & joined in on our fun conversations (without being overbearing!!!) Dockside is deff a new favorite of mine! Can’t wait to come back soon ♥️

The atmosphere and service was outstanding. That is what you are paying for. The food was good but I feel the crab cakes fell short of expectations. It was $30 for 2 jumbo lump crab cakes and 2 sides. What came out were 2 FLAT crab cakes (I guess like a small pancake and there were no "lumps" of crab). Don't get me wrong, they were ok but not for $30. Truffle fries were AWESOME!

First time going to this restaurant after new management took over… The place is still very nice and was super quiet on a Saturday at 12. They have a decent menu. Food was ok but definitely needs more flavor and seasoning. Mac and cheese and burgers could use garlic powder, onion powder, pepper etc. Service was good. Would give it overall a 6/10. Price was ok for 2 burgers with Mac & cheese, 2 mimosas, and a side of truffle fries for $55.

Food was good, short rib risotto special was very salty unfortunately (specifically the risotto), tomato stack salad was delicious and good cocktails. Service was excellent- very attentive and personable staff. Bathrooms smelled like an actual fishing dock for some reason (not in a good way). Atmosphere is nice and cozy and was decorated nicely for Christmas.

A little off the beaten path but in a very nice location with access to the Neshaminy Creek. Very clean restaurant with a nice remodel from the previous occupancy. The restaurant was nearly empty at dinner time with only 1 other table inside. Service was very fast and attentive. Prices were typical for the area. The quality of the food was great. Most of the items we ordered clearly appeared made in house. The downfall was the most of the food was bland and under seasoned. The egg rolls were a "Caribbean beef" with teriyaki peppers and onions, they were great. BBQ Pork Potato skins were 3 small potatoes and while good in quality and doneness, bland in flavor. The bacon jam on the burgers was excellent and the burgers were cooked to a perfect medium. The few fries we got were definitely under seasoned as was the beef itself. Mac and cheese was very cheesy and almost too creamy. And again, bland, simply tasted like cheese and milk. Coleslaw was not bland, but was overpowered with vinegar making it inedible for us. Desserts on the other hand were excellent. Especially the gelato. Another thing thing note is that a few of their menu items are "see server" for the variations they have each day. These included the egg rolls (which were perfect) and the gelato (also perfect, but comes with a scoop of each of 3 flavors with no substitution if you don't like one of the flavors of the day, a silly restriction on something like gelato). While this presents opportunities to try different combinations, it makes it challenging in that what was so great one time and would make me go back might not even be available next time. I'd understand for a special item but as a permanent menu item I think it's a bit of a draw back. Similarly they offer a flight of 4 dessert shooters. While you can mix and match here, they will not sell less than the 4 at a time. It would be nice to offer an option if someone only wants a single. The desserts on the flight are also only available as a flight, not individually as a full dessert either. So if you just want Banana Cream Pie, Tiramisu, Black Forest Cake, or Gluten-Free Cherry Cheesecake, you are out of luck. Overall they fall somewhere in the middle for me, good ingredients, cooked right, but lacking in taste and at time portions (BBQ Pork Potato Skins and fries). Dockside is not off my list but I probably won't go out of my way to return.
